Situated on the northeastern point of the island, Peninsula Zancadilla is the first phase of the island being developed and is named “La Peninsula, Beach Club and Marina”. La Peninsula is developed in joint venture with Grupo Verdeazul of Mr.Alberto Vallarino, who also owns Buenaventura resort, Panama, and The Bristol Hotel in Panama City. La Peninsula graced with the finest conservation-based residences and home sites and its key components include:

  • Limited number of home sites, residences and apartments
  • Private Marina with a Bar and Restaurant with 40+ slips from 40 to 250 ft.
  • 1,000 meters runway airport
  • Beach club, pool bar and terrace at the white sands of Playa Tortuga
  • Service pier
  • Recreational center:
    • Gym, kids’ club and tennis courts, scuba diving, whale watching, bird watching, sport fishing and other water sports

Key components of the entire Pearl Island project when fully developed shall include:

  • A limited number of exclusive homesites and private villas in over 10sq km of natural reserve
  • Up to three 5-star luxury branded hotels
  • A 250 to 500-berth marina with retail space, restaurants and bars. The marina is blessed with a natural harbor topography that is set to establish it as one of the largest marinas in Central America and the new destination for the mega yacht community
  • Over 10 sq km of natural reserve, part of the goal of preserving over half the island as untouched land for exploration and enjoyment
  • Pearl Island Foundation and research center for scientific talks, wildlife exploration and guided tours
  • Leisure and recreational facilities, archaeological sites and cultural villages
  • An extensive network of over 40 kilometers of natural biking and hiking trails connecting people to adventure and relaxation
  • Fourteen private sandy beaches
  • A limited number of exclusive residential neighborhoods
